Team norms are a set of agreed-upon guidelines about how team members work with each other. It can cover topics such as communication, meeting, email, time off, hybrid work… Collectively agreeing on team norms, as well as committing to them are essential to build and sustain teams’ high-performance. It also participates in building a healthy team culture.
