Practising detachment

Detachment is about cognitively, emotionally and physically separating ourselves from work when we choose not to be working. Effective detachment is essential to balance the effect of stress and sustain performance next time we choose to engage with work. It positively affects our body and our mind preventing burn out and raising wellbeing. However we (individually, as a team and as an organisation) can set many barriers preventing us from practising efficient detachment.
